Before you start
See when uploaded media is immediate, awaiting review, approved or declined across devices. The available controls depend on whether you are the signed-in host or a guest using the event link. Use a current browser and allow any save or upload confirmation to finish before leaving the page.
What to do
- The host chooses separate photo and video pre-approval settings; both are off by default.
- When pre-approval is off, a successful upload is approved immediately.
- When pre-approval is on, the upload appears in Host Media as Needs review.
- The host approves or declines the item from Host Media.
- Guest photos, feeds, guestbook media and visible albums show approved items only.
Check the result
Open the affected page again and confirm the saved information, status or media appears as expected. When the change affects guests, use View as guest or the event link on a second device to check the public result. Avoid making the same edit on two devices at once while a save is still in progress.
Good to know
- Approval status is stored on the server and should be consistent on every device.
- Album membership does not override approval.
- If an approval save fails, the host view should return to the last confirmed status.
If it still does not work
Reload the affected page once and confirm you are using the correct event URL. Note the device, browser, approximate time and exact message shown. If the issue involves a Cloudflare error, include its Ray ID and UTC time. Do not repeatedly submit payments, destructive actions or large uploads while an error is active.
