Getting started

Preview your event as a guest

Check the welcome screen, guest actions and event information before sending invitations.

For HostsUpdated 31 August 2026

Before you start

Check the welcome screen, guest actions and event information before sending invitations. Sign in to the correct host account and confirm the event name before making changes. Use a current browser and allow any save or upload confirmation to finish before leaving the page.

The guest preview shows the same key actions and information guests will use on their own devices.

What to do

  1. Open Preview from the host navigation to see the guest page in live mobile frames.
  2. Below the two previews, use Host welcome message to show or hide your personal note. Edit Guest home welcome message and choose Save welcome message to update it.
  3. Choose View as guest when you want to interact with the complete guest experience.
  4. Enter through the same welcome page and home screen your guests will see.
  5. Check RSVP, menu, event details, travel and upload routes that are enabled for the plan.
  6. Use Return to the host dashboard when you finish reviewing the guest experience.

Check the result

Open the affected page again and confirm the saved information, status or media appears as expected. When the change affects guests, use Preview or the event link on a second device to check the guest result. Avoid making the same edit on two devices at once while a save is still in progress.

Good to know

  • The host preview uses the host guest account and should not be sent as another guest's personal invitation.
  • Test at a narrow mobile width as well as desktop.
  • Only enabled and ready features should appear as guest actions.

If it still does not work

Reload the affected page once and confirm you are using the correct event URL. Note the device, browser, approximate time and exact message shown. If the issue involves a Cloudflare error, include its Ray ID and UTC time. Do not repeatedly submit payments, destructive actions or large uploads while an error is active.
