Customise the welcome design

Before you start

Choose a layout and personalise welcome wording, imagery, colours and fonts without changing the rest of the app. Sign in to the correct host account and confirm the event name before making changes. Use a current browser and allow any save or upload confirmation to finish before leaving the page.

What to do

1. Open Page design & style from the host navigation and choose Edit template.
2. Choose one of the structural templates; selecting a new template reapplies its accessible defaults.
3. Change the welcome line, title, button label, colours and curated fonts as needed.
4. Add the main cover image and supporting images where the Gallery Collage layout allows them.
5. Use the live preview and then confirm the complete guest welcome through Preview or View as guest.

Check the result

Open the affected page again and confirm the saved information, status or media appears as expected. When the change affects guests, use Preview or the event link on a second device to check the guest result. Avoid making the same edit on two devices at once while a save is still in progress.

Good to know

• Welcome styling applies to the welcome screen and large guest hero, not every app card or control.
• Blank wording fields fall back to event or template defaults.
• Check text contrast whenever background or button colours change.

If it still does not work

Reload the affected page once and confirm you are using the correct event URL. Note the device, browser, approximate time and exact message shown. If the issue involves a Cloudflare error, include its Ray ID and UTC time. Do not repeatedly submit payments, destructive actions or large uploads while an error is active.
