Guests & RSVPs

Send a personal guest invitation

Share a secure personal link that opens the correct guest group and reduces RSVP typing.

For HostsUpdated 18 July 2026

Before you start

Share a secure personal link that opens the correct guest group and reduces RSVP typing. Sign in to the correct host account and confirm the event name before making changes. Use a current browser and allow any save or upload confirmation to finish before leaving the page.

What to do

  1. Add the guest group before creating its invitation.
  2. Open the personal invite area and search for the group name.
  3. Choose Send Invite for that group and select an available sharing option.
  4. Confirm the message contains the correct event and guest group before sending.
  5. Use the shared event link only as a fallback for general signage or broad announcements.

Check the result

Open the affected page again and confirm the saved information, status or media appears as expected. When the change affects guests, use View as guest or the event link on a second device to check the public result. Avoid making the same edit on two devices at once while a save is still in progress.

Good to know

  • Treat personal links as private invitation details.
  • Saved contact information can pre-address the message but the host still controls the final send action.
  • A personal link does not create a separate guest account or password.

If it still does not work

Reload the affected page once and confirm you are using the correct event URL. Note the device, browser, approximate time and exact message shown. If the issue involves a Cloudflare error, include its Ray ID and UTC time. Do not repeatedly submit payments, destructive actions or large uploads while an error is active.
